Gorilla Trekking Safari In Bwindi – 3 Days
$1350 per person
Gorilla Trekking Safari will happen in the Bwindi impenetrable forest National park. Bwindi is situated on the brink of the Great Rift Valley in southwestern Uganda. Bwindi is home to over 350 endangered mountain gorillas that are probably Africa’s most awe-inspiring creatures.
There are also 346 bird species and more than 200 butterfly species. Gorilla trekking is the biggest tourist activity in Bwindi with over four groups accessible for visitors every day.
The Mubare group (ten membes, one silverback) was opened for tourism in 1993, and the Habinyanja group (eighteen members, two silverbacks) was ready in July 1998. The Rusheguru group (ten members, one silverback) was opened in July 2002, while the Nkuringo group (nineteen members, two silverbacks) was opened for tourism in April 2004.
Tracking gorillas in Bwindi can be difficult, so some physical fitness is needed. Tracking begins at around 8:30 a.m. in the early morning and can last from a few hours a day depending on the movement of these gentle giant.
